On Tuesday, October 29th at 7pm you are invited to an All-Candidates Meeting here at Lawrence Park Community Church (“LPCC”) at 2180 Bayview Avenue, North York.  Doors open at 7 p.m. for you to speak with candidates directly.  The debate begins at 8 p.m.
 
The event will be attended by the public in person, and live-streamed https://youtube.com/live/CasSOpPXZps?feature=share  Please share this message with your friends and family living in Ward 15.  All are welcome.
 
To date, this is the only All-Candidate debate scheduled for this campaign and all 12 actively campaigning candidates have confirmed their attendance.
 
The topic of discussion for this debate will be affordable housing, the compassionate care of Toronto’s homeless citizens and improvements in Social Housing.
 
Would like to submit a question?  If you would like to provide a question for us to consider including in the Debate, please send it to Rev. Stephen Milton at stephen@lawrenceparkchurch.ca  on or before Sunday, October 13th.  We will be finalizing the list of questions and sharing it with the candidates on October 15th.  Please write “Debate Question” in the Subject line.
 
Background Information: 
The upcoming By-Election has been called to fill the seat of the late Jaye Robinson.  
 
This event is being sponsored and organized by the North Toronto Cluster of Churches group known as the Roehampton Friendlies which was formed to help shelter residents, and continues to focus on issues affecting the under-housed and homelessness.
