A New Year - Let's Face It!

This title may seem to be a bit in your face, or harsh, but it is not intended to be. We are still in the season of Christmas, but during this time we have already passed most of the excitement and are instead, calming down. Starting a new year holds a very different feeling than that of Christmas, but the continuation of the birth story of Jesus offers us insight into how we can move forward. 2017 will be a year of prosperity and dissapointments, much like the years passed, but we can look to the example of Jesus to help us step up to the challenges we will face, and encourage a world of peace.
