In this sermon Rev. Suk uses the examples of the Nameless Woman and Simon the Pharisee as models for us.
Simon was a religious leader by virute of the status he created for himself. He held himself out as a leader and teacher. Jesus condemned him for his hypocrisy. The Nameless Woman didn't attempt to elevate herself; demonstrated instead only love and humility and proved herself to be a far greater teacher than Simon.
Are we willing to 'empty ourselves'; to create empty space within to be filled with God's love and lessons?
