In this sermon, Rev. Suk shares about two of his avid interests which tend to steer him, evolution and preaching, which, in turn, leads him to consider the Butterfly effect. That is the concept that, in fact, it is the accumulation of the occurrences of very small things, like the flap of a butterfly's wings, that subsequently effects change down the road.
So how do we apply that theory to our here and now? With the idea that we ourselves can effect change, not just with heroic measures but with small, thoughtful gestures. Together with simple gestures from others, the accumulation effect cannot be denied as useful; even powerful, to a positive outcome.
