This past Sunday LPCC extended a warm welcome to Rev. Angie Hocking, Outreach Minister for Regent Park. Open to people of all religions, cultures and orientation, the Regent Park Community Ministry offers fellowship and support to local residents, especially those experiencing poverty or marginalization. Supported by the United Church, it is a faith community that strives to be intimately connected to God’s work of reconciliation, justice and love. She explains why she choose to join the United Church and to work as a Community Minister in Regent Park. She also shares her vision for the future of the church as a whole.
