The pandemic shows no signs of slowing down. In part, this is partly due to the fact that so many people are just tired of it, and they are letting their guards down. The Returning Committee of LPCC urges all members to remain vigilant of their, and their family’s safety. Please take all the precautions that our Health leaders in government are urging on us. Wear masks. Socially distance yourselves from others you run into. Wash your hands. Don’t make unnecessary trips to public places. Get your flu shot. You all know the drill, so please stay safe!
Here at LPCC we are following all the guidelines, and we continually monitor the pandemic with a view to wondering when we can reopen the church building. For now, it is clear that this will not happen until sometime in the new year. That means we will continue streaming our worship via Zoom for the foreseeable future.
When will we reopen? We don’t know, but it seems likely that we will not be able to consider reopening until after the “normal” flu season is past. Right now, it doesn’t appear likely that we will be able to reopen until March or April at the earliest. We will keep you informed.
In the meantime, join us for one of the many weekly events that we stream on Zoom located under "Events" on this website.
If you have a pastoral concern, or just want to talk, to one of the ministers, our emails are john@lawrenceparkchurch.ca and stephen@lawrenceparkchurch.ca. We look forward to hearing from you!
