Great turnout today at the "How we House" event in Regent Park. 50 people were given a guided your of social housing in the area, learning from residents about subsidized housing of all kinds, shelters, and the burden that unaffordable housing places on the working people with low incomes. The event was filmed, and clips should be available in about two weeks. I will share some on Facebook to give you a sense of the wonderful speakers we heard today. Kudos to Rev. Angie Stevens Hocking and the Roehampton Friendlies and all the speakers for making this happen.
