This was the scene at Queen's Park, Toronto on September 20, where thousands of people gathered to affirm the right of queer teens to have their pronouns respected, and not reported to their parents, as Premier Ford suggested two weeks ago. This crowd was at least 5 times larger than the supposed 1 Million march the right wing held, which was located north of the Queen's Park buildings.
Please take a minute to take a look at Rev. Stephen's letter, and consider sending one of your own to the Premier. Being a queer teen is hard enough without worrying that your school will out you to your parents. This is a serious invasion of personal privacy, and will lead to even more teens running away from hostile homes (23% of youth in Toronto shelters identity as LGBTQ+).
